Upcoming MAC Holiday Collection

Check out www.tempalia.com for details of the upcoming MAC holiday collection: Magic, Mirth and Mischief (coming out in October).

That looks OK but the Baroque Boudoir collection (out in Nov) really caught my eye, cos I'm a sucker for packaging :P

EOTD #1

My first FOTD! Well face of last night really, I went to a friends engagement party... I'm still getting used to doing these so the pics aren't very good and there is one annoying hair that is coming in the way of my face in the pics so sorry about that. It was also my first time putting on false lashes, which was probably not a good idea, I really should have tried it out before because it was a lot harder than it looks in tutorials!

Eyes: MAC Indianwood Paint Pot, Coastal Scents 88 matte palette, L'Oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss, Bourjois Khol & Contour Ultra Black, Eyelure Girls Aloud Nadine Lashes.

Soap & Glory Face Massage Mini Mitt

I went to Boots during the weekend and was looking at the Soap & Glory stuff (I already have a scrub and hand cream from them which I love) and picked up this face mitt. Don't you just love their packaging?! Their products always smell nice too... but anyways back to this product, I thought I would try it out. It cost me £4.
Its made from silicone, and has these little bumps on it that massage your face. Its very soft so its not harsh on your skin. I have been using it to rub my cleanser into my face. I love the feeling it gives, like I'm really giving my skin a good clean. I tend to get lazy and just use wipes to remove my make-up even though I know they don't get it all off, but since I bought this I have enjoyed cleansing. I used to use muslin cloths to gently exfoliate & cleanse my skin but they get dirty quickly and I don't always have time to wash them. With this I get a similar feeling but it is also easy to clean and dries really quick too! I ♥ it! So if you can get your hands on one of these give it a try!

New Urban Decay Products :)

I'm taking advantage of the fact that I had a half day at uni to get some blog posts done because I feel like I have been neglecting it recently! I was looking at the Urban Decay website and saw some of the new products they are coming out with and I'm so excited!! these are the ones that I am most looking forward to:

Ink for Eyes, £14
This is a cream liner that come in very cute packaging complete with a mirror and brush. Its available in Binge (midnight blue), Demolition (brown), Empire (purple), Loaded (deep green), Pyrotechnics (clear with iridescent glitter) and Zero (black).

24/7 Super Stash, £18
I love the 24/7 liners, they go on so smooth and come in beautiful colours so I will definitely be picking this set up. It contains 9 mini eyeliners, including 4 exclusive shades!Book of Shadows Vol. II, £27
This set contains 16 shadows (8 exclusive), mini eyeliners in Zero (black) and Bourbon (brown) plus a mini bottle of Primer Potion.

Also, looks like Urban Decay finally listened about the primer potion and have come up with a solution to the wasted product problem. If you didn't know, the shape of the UDPP bottle, although pretty, did not allow you to get all of the product out. The wand goes straight down so it doesn't reach the product that is around the sides where the bottle curves. That is a lot of wasted product!! I looked on the site and saw that they have come up with a new bent wand that should help get all of the product out and save people from having to cut open the bottle! :)

What do you think of the new products?

NOTD and First OOTD!

So first here is my NOTD which I actually applied on Monday. I'm sure you have probably seen a lot of this very popular nail polish - its OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.

I love this colour in winter and when my nails are shorter. Its a great plummy, almost black, purple. This was the first dark polish that I bought that was actually dark on the nails without the need for loads of coats!

So I have been wanting a blazer for a while now, but being a student again I cant really afford to spend upwards of £50 on one. Yesterday I bought one from New Look that was £30, on offer now for £20 and with my student discount I got it for £18!! Yay for student discounts!! :) I wore it today with jeans and a plain white tee...

Blazer - New Look
Jeans - H&M
T-shirt - Primark
Necklace - Topshop
Shoes - H&M

Close ups:
I hope you enjoyed this post!

Everyone was really nice and I'm excited to be doing something new but I already have a lot of work to do :( Hopefully I will still have time to update my blog, I think it will be a nice break from all of the assignments and planning!
If you just started uni/school I hope your enjoying it!

I Miss My Sudocrem

Since I came back from my holiday I just can't find my tub of Sudocrem and I'm going to have to go and buy some tomorrow because I don't think I can live without it! For those of you that haven't heard of Sudocrem it is basically an antiseptic cream, usually used on babies bottoms for nappy rash. I heard about it from lolasayswhat on YouTube who was using it on her spots and I had some lying around at home so thought I would try it out. Thankfully it works really well for me too! Its a thick white cream so I only use it before I go to bed, I put it on my spots and I feel like it helps them go away quicker. Sometimes when I can feel a spot starting to come up, (you know when its a little bump) and I put it on that area and it stops the spot from getting any bigger! I know it doesn't work for everyone because I recommended it to a friend once and it didn't work for her but it costs no more than £3 for a tub that would last you forever, so I reckon its worth a try!

Has anyone else tried this? Did it work for you?

Inspirational Images: Megan Fox, Wonderland Magazine

Check out these pictures of Megan Fox in this months Wonderland magazine, she looks amazing as usual:

The cover

I love the volume and curls in her hair
Anyone else would look tired with this eye make-up but Megan pulls it off
Stunning!

This one is probably my favourite, I love black and white pics and the sky looks beautiful.
What do you think of the pics? Anyone else wishing that they look like her? :P

The velvet plum shade looks similar in the picture to NARS Mekong... will have to see it in person to find out if thats true.

This palette looks like it has everything you would need to get ready for a night out!
