NOTD Barry M Pale Purple
Just got my hands on the new Barry M shade Pale Purple (308) this week and thought I would do a NOTD for you all. Its a really pretty pale purple (like the name suggests!) with a slightly pink undertone to it. I love it!

Neal's Yard Haul
A couple of weeks ago I heard about Marie Claire offering 20% off Neal's Yard products so I went and bought the magazine and made an order last week, which I received today!
I have been using Neal's Yard products since last September and had just started to run out so this was perfect timing!
What I ordered:

I have extremely dry skin and have been using the Orange Flower Water, Orange Flower Facial Polish and Jasmine Enriching Cream (which I use at night) since September and have really seen an improvement in my skin, its not as dry and flaky any more. This time I decided to try out the Orange Flower facial wash and night cream as I have really been liking other products in the Orange Flower range.
I can especially recommend the Orange Flower Facial Polish for those of you that have dry skin as it exfoliates gently to get rid of any flaky skin without drying your face out like many other scrubs I have used in the past.
Has anyone else been using Neal's Yard products? What are your favourites?

Its been a long time....
Wow it really has been a while since I last posted something! I've been so busy lately at university that I just didn't have time :( Thank to the people who commented asking where I was! I just handed in a really important essay on Friday and went out to celebrate so thought I would show you my EOTN! Hope you like it!
I still can't manage to put mascara on without getting it on my eyelid! lol
I still can't manage to put mascara on without getting it on my eyelid! lolHere's what I used:
- Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a primer
- MAC Paintpot in Indianwood all over the lid
- MAC Expensive Pink eyeshadow on the lid
- From the Coastal scents 88 pallette: 1 on the outer half of my lid and slightly above the crease, blended into expensive pink. I mixed 2 and 3 and used it to line my lower lash line. I then brought the colour up into my crease and the outer v. Finally I used 4 in the outer v to add a little more depth. (It's a shame the camera doesn't really pick up all of that work!)
- I used L'Oreal Superliner in Carbon Gloss to line my upper lash line and Bourjois Kohl & Contour in Ultra Black in the waterline.
- I finished off with a few coats of Max Factor False Lash Effect and L'Oreal Voluminous mascaras.

New Years Eve FOTN
Happy new year! I hope that 2010 is going to be a great year for all of you :)
I feel like I haven't done a FOTD post for a long time so I thought it would be nice to show you how I did my makeup on New Years Eve.
Face: MAC Studio Sculpt foundation (shade NC45), MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural (shade Medium Deep)
Cheeks: Body Shop Blush Trio in Warm Sunset
Lips: GOSH Soft'n Shine Lipbalm in Irony
Brows: MAC Brow Shader (discontinued)

8 Most Worn Things Tag
I've seen this tag going around on blogs and YouTube and I've enjoyed reading/watching them so thought I would do my own one!
Most worn lipstick/gloss
I don't normally wear anything on my lips apart from lip balm but I've been wanting to start wearing something on them because I think sometimes my makeup looks incomplete without it so I've been trying out different tinted lip balms. I recently bought one of the GOSH Soft 'n' Shine lip balms and although its called a lip balm its quite pigmented and is more like a moisturising gloss than a balm, some of the shades are more like lipsticks because of how pigmented they are. Anyways I love them and I want to buy them in every colour!
Most worn earrings
I have been going a bit jewellery mad recently and been buying loads (it doesn't help that there is an Accessorize in the station where I get my train home from uni!) but i never really remember to change my earrings unless its for a night out. So my most worn earrings are usually studs which I change around once in a while. These are the ones I'm currently wearing. They were £4 from ASOS and are still available here.
Most worn shirt
I take this to mean top? My most worn top would probably be a plain vest top in black or white but that's not very interesting to show so apart from that I think it would be this tunic top/dress from Topshop. I find that I always put this on whenever I'm not sure what to wear.
Most worn nail polish
I change my nail polish pretty often as I cant cant stand having chipped polish and I get bored of colours pretty easily but my most worn polish would definitely be OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark because I always have this on on my toes and it is one of the few polishes that I have painted my finger nails with twice in a row (and trust me that's pretty rare for me)! Most worn shoes
Most of the year I live in black flats and I get through quite a few during the year as they get worn out really quick which can be annoying! My current pair are from h&m but I won't be showing you a pic because they are embarrassingly messed up lol.
Most worn hair product
I don't use many hair products, in fact the only one I use regularly is CHI Keratin Mist, which is a leave-in strengthening treatment which is meant to protect your hair from heat damage. Now I don't really know how well this is protecting my hair, I think its kind of impossible to judge whether a heat protectant product is really doing its job but I use this for piece of mind. Its better than using nothing, right? Anyways the main thing I love about this is the smell, it smells like men's aftershave.
Most worn perfume
I love sweet, girly fragrances and my favourite one has got to be Miss Dior Cherie. I have a 100ml bottle which is almost finished so I have had to stop using it recently because I don't want to run out! Definitely check this out if you like sweet fragrances too.
Most worn handbag
I'm always switching my handbags because I have so many and during the week I use a big one for uni and other times I like to use a smaller cross shoulder bag. I used to always carry around a big bag but decided to downsize when I'm not at uni. Don't you find the bigger the bag you carry around the more unnecessary junk you put in it? Or is that just me? :S lol. Anyways this bag from Topshop, that I got from a friend as a birthday present last year, is probably my most worn one.

NYX is coming to the UK!!
I just read on BritishBeautyBlogger's blog that NYX cosmetics is coming to the UK! It is being released in Harrods next week in the Way-In department... I just hope its not going to be one of those cases when a budget brand comes over from the US and they to sell the same products at ridiculously high prices here!

EOTN 07/11/09
Last nights eye makeup:
I used MAC Paint Pot in Indianwood as a base and of course my 88 palette shadows again! I put 1 all over the lids, 2 on the outer half of my lids, 3 blended in the crease and 4 as a highlight. I also used GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner in 006 Bananas on the inner corners and L'Oreal Superliner to line my eyes and Bourjois Khol & Contour on the waterline. I finished off with Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara.

EOTN: Greys
Hi everyone! Hope you have had a nice weekend!
I went out last night and this was the eye look I did:
(ignore the mascara smudge on the right lol)
Once again I used my Coastal Scents original 88 palette, L'Oreal Superliner and Max Factor Flase Lash Effect mascara.
I used 1 on the lids but the colour wasnt as strong as I wanted, so I put 2 on top which is a nice shimmery silver. Then I added 3 in the crease and blended into the outer corner and finished with 4 on the brow bone. Simple!

NOTD: Elegant Touch French Manicure
I popped into Superdrug last week and saw this Elegant Touch French Manicure set on offer for £3.99 so I picked one up as I haven't done a french manicure in ages. The set comes with a natural colour, a white, and a top coat. It also comes with tip guides to help although I haven't used these as I prefer to do it free hand.
I think this set is really good for the price because I find that the white nail polishes I use for the tips always get gloopy and thick really quickly so I don't really want to spend too much on it.
I used the white and natural colours and my own Sally Hansen top coat instead of the one in the set.

Batiste for Brunettes!!
Just saw a post on lipglossiping (great site, check it out!) about Batiste coming out with a dry shampoo for brunettes! I'm so excited, this is going to be a saviour on greasy hair days. I was always worried before that I was going to have some white patches in my hair when I used the normal Batiste so this solves that problem. I did a little search and saw it on ASOS.com for £3.00 so it comes at a very good price too :)♥

NOTD: Barry M Bright Purple
Just painted my nails! I've been really busy with uni work lately but I somehow always manage to find time to paint my nails lol. I ♥ Barry M nail polishes! They are really good quality especially for the price and come in a great range of colours so you can afford to try out something new. I really like purples but normally go for either really light or really dark purples on my nails but went for a bright purple this time and I love it! On to the pics....

Nails Inc Colour Trios and NOTD
Two weeks ago I saw a blog post from Rosa Adores about a nails inc offer. They were selling for one day only sets of 3 nail polishes for only £8!! Of course I couldn't resist :p
They came on Saturday but I only got time to do a post now. Look how the pretty envelope is!
I'm not sure if these colours are available to buy separately or if they were only available in this set but I thought I would do some swatches anyway.
